I found it to be confusing to switch between using Skydemon on a PC and an Android device as the way you access windows, setting and function (e.g. menu hierarchies) are quite different.

In particular, I've not managed to figure out the following. Can someone help me out?

1) How do you get raw TAFs/METARs on the PC version?

2) How can you get magnetic tracks in the Pilot Log in the Android version? In the PC version, this is selected in the Print Centre, but there is no Print Centre on the Android... (Magnetic Tracks are important because when you navigate using VORs you use them to determine the VOR radial. Similarly when using an ADF.)

3) When opening airfield plates in the Android, I don't get a choice of all installed PDF readers, as I do when opening PDF files from other programs.

On the PC - On the chart window at the bottom you will see various labels, 'Route view' 'Virtual radar' 'TAF decode' etc

Click on 'TAF decode' or 'Metar Decode' and try hovering your cursor over one of the lines of data, you should see what you are looking for. There is probably another way to do it, but that one is simple enough.

I don't use the Android version, I use the mini ipad so I can only tell you how to get what you want on that platform, however it is probably the same. One point to note though, is that the Android version is new, and all the functionality has not yet been included, but will be as time moves on, so some things may not be achievable yet.

IPAD - plan your route - down the right side of screen click >'TAF or Metar' > top left of that side TAF or METAR window click > 'TOOLS' > then click 'Switch to RAW view'

Hope that helps
